Endgame Pressure
Level: Advanced
When few ships and unexplored cells remain, close out the match with calculation.
In the endgame, as unexplored cells dwindle, the power of probability density grows. When only a handful of spots can still hold a remaining ship, density calculations point to a target that's nearly certain.
If the last ship is a two-cell Destroyer, only spots with two consecutive unexplored cells are candidates. Skip isolated single cells to save shots.
Since whoever wipes out the opponent's fleet first wins, a single shot in the endgame can decide the match. Don't guess — count out every remaining placement and pick the most favorable cell.
