Probability-Density Firing
Level: Advanced
Count every possible placement of the remaining ships to calculate the highest-probability cell.
Probability-density firing scans every horizontal and vertical placement for each remaining ship, keeps only the valid placements that avoid miss and sunk cells, and adds a point to every cell that placement covers. The unexplored cell with the highest combined score across all ships becomes the next target.
Giving extra weight to placements that pass through hit-but-not-yet-sunk cells merges hunting and tracking into a single calculation. Density spikes around a hit, naturally guiding you to finish finding the ship.
This game's Admiral difficulty fires exactly this way. Even for humans, picking up a rough sense of density — favoring the center and longer ships — can significantly raise your win rate.

The Concept of Probability Density
Cells with more possible ship placements passing through them have a higher chance of being hit.
